1. Who we are
This website is operated by Orchal Ltd (“Orchal”, “we”, “us”), 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at support@orchal.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form or contact us by email or phone, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, country or region, the services you are interested in, the scale and timeline of your requirement and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server records standard technical information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. To protect the enquiry form from abuse, we temporarily store a one-way hashed form of your IP address to limit repeated submissions.
This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements (legal basis: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract).
- To provide and manage services you have agreed with us (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- To keep this website secure and prevent spam and misuse (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where necessary, with:
- service providers who host our website and deliver our email, acting on our instructions;
- engineers and partners engaged to deliver services you have requested, limited to the information they need for the task;
- professional advisers, or authorities where required by law.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.
5. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, and normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless a contract or legal obligation requires longer. Rate-limiting records are kept for no more than 24 hours.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email support@orchal.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry form submissions are validated on our server and delivered by email; we apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we handle.
